The real question is, what is Louis doing in this season? It’s definitely not to fill in ‘space’ or because he is dating Batista’s sister. And his obsession with Dexter’s perfection? Need for approval from Dexter? There has got to be something more to it than this. I have known the show long enough to know that new characters aren’t just created to fill in gaps. They have something to do with the story.
So what is Louis going to end up finding? Why is he there? What’s with mentioning older serial killer cases off Dexter? I mean, com’on. They’ve referred to the Bay Harbor Butcher and the Ice Truck Killer, more than once in this season. There has to be a reason why.
Anyone else feels the same way?
I’m reallly expecting an amazing finale. These pieces WILL fit together somehow. I just know it.

Agreed so hard. All season I’ve been wondering why the hell he’s been involved with Miami Metro. …Especially when they showed the action Ice Truck hand in his apartment…and especially when he threw The Bay Harbor Butcher into his game… SO MANY QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED IN SO FEW EPISODES.
